But stay awake through a 3 hour movie?
Why are we so bored when we read the Bible,
But find it easy to read other books?
Why is it so easy to ignore a msg about God,
Yet we forward the funny ones?
Why are Prayer houses getting smaller,
But bars and clubs are expanding?
Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity,
But very difficult to engage with God?
Think about it, are you going to upvote this?
Are you going to ignore it, because you think you will be laughed at?

Why is it that we take important things lightly, compared to how we feel about silly stuff? Church service seems so boring because our mentallity towards God's stuff is limited to how we feel about things that do not add value in our lives. Damn! The crazy world at its best.
great questions @endee. you nailed it. I enjoy the day of rest and going to church and reading the scriptures and prayer. I find that I relax, that I feel safe and secure and comfortable, at peace in a troubled, turbulent world even if only for those few moments or minutes or hours.
