John 5:8 - "Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed and walk."
How many of us are so focused on our problems that we forget who our God is?
The man on the pool of Bethesda had waited for so long to be healed that his problem became a way of life. He had no one to help him. He had no hope of ever being healed neither had he the desire to help himself. He had lost all hope, for he had come to conclude that he had no one to help him.
Many today are in the same plight. They are waiting for some singular emotion, remarkable impression or celestial vision before believing that God can heal them. They wait in vain and watch for nothing. Such men have forgotten that Jesus while hanging on the cross said, "IT IS FINISHED. "
He had come and laid down His life that we may have abundant life. He now bids us look unto him and be saved from our sins and healed of our diseases. 1 Peter 2:24 confirms that by the stripes of Jesus, we were already healed. It is left for us to appropriate this gift to our situation, circumstances and accept our healing and break through by faith.
One thing our God cannot and will never do is tell lies. If Jesus could resurrect after three days and put death to shame, if He could call Lazarus out of the grave after four days; then He is well able to honour His promises and stand by the covenants He has made with those He has bought with His precious blood.
Mark 11:24 reads;
THEREFORE, I SAY UNTO YOU WHAT THINGS SO EVER YOU DESIRE, WHEN YE PRAY BELIEVE THAT YE RECEIVE THEM AND YE SHALL HAVE THEM."
Dear Steemians, I urge you all to rise up and claim that which you have asked of Him.

The verse in Peter refers to spiritual healing. Not physical healing. God's gifts are freely given. God doesn't cruelly hold them back until we know the magic words.
Jesus was talking to his disciples in Mark 11. They would be given whatever they needed to fulfill their ministry. Not to satisfy their selfish desires.
Timothy and Paul both had health problems. Timothy was often sick. Paul had bad eyesight.
(1 Timothy 5:23 NIV) Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.
(Galatians 6:11 NIV) See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
