They are such a blessing!
This may sound silly, but we make a point to tell our son every day that we love him and that he is a blessing and I've been telling him that the only one who loves him more than us is the Most High and yesterday I said, "I love you little one" in the middle of a hug and he looked at me and said "and the Most High loves me even more". Melted my heart! We pray for more blessings to come, Lord willing.
My parents were unable to have children for 18 years and then as my mum turned 38 she naturally conceived me, their only child. That long wait made them treasure me so much more. They had essentially given up and there was no doubt in their minds that I was a blessing.
