Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! Luke 17:1.
The Lord Jesus stated that offences will surely come to us. However, he laid a curse on where it would come from. Jesus Christ further cautioned His disciples to rebuke the offenders.
However, He told them to forgive if the offender repent from his/her transgression. Jesus doesn't want us to be sinners who derive pleasure in sinning.
He wants us to be the people who quickly admit doing wrong and seek for absolute repentance. This same way He has also warned everyone to take no offence against those who clearly repent from their bad ways. Dear steemian, have you for once been offended? How did you handle the situation when you were offended? Share your comments below!

Much love @gloriousgirl
Jesus points out that our responsibility is to place our faith in Jesus to sanctify us before God, avoid sin, and seek forgiveness when we do sin. This is not something we should do because of a reward on earth, but because we are God’s chosen - he is our master - and that is what God wants.
Nice gospel @gloriousgirl, thanks for sharing...
