Youth and the Church #3 Service

Involving youth in service is a joyous experience for a teacher. It is the outcome of teaching God's Word positive results. Usually it's as easy as pointing them in the right direction and watching them take off. What is not simple is finding that "right direction." Investing lives in service deserves ate least as much careful thought as the investment of money would.

There are many opportunities for Christian Teenagers to serve the need of their communities. Christian musical groups, short-term missions, neighborhood clean ups, carwashes, helping with summer child care for working mothers, peer counseling, and volunteering to help with their church's Vacation Bible school or Sunday school are among the ways they can grow through service . There are many other practical , worthwhile proects that can be thought of by using imagination and by asking people for their ideas.
