Our Lord and Savior have some questions to ask
So if you have the courage to read this poem
He's asking when did I say go on a vacation
Or ask you to buy a bigger home
When did I ask you to go buy a new boat
Or any of the fun toys you can buy today
When did I tell you to hoard your money in a bank
I said if you love me, you would give it all away
I didn't teach you to put your faith in man
I didn't teach you to put your faith in school
I taught you to seek after my Father and his perfect knowledge
I said if you put your faith in man, your a fool
I asked you to go out and be my disciple
I asked you to go help the poor and needy
I asked you to give up the world and come follow me
But you are all wicked, selfish and greedy
I guess that depends on your definition of bliss. Not sure I would consider the world burning as bliss. Thanks for the comment and laugh!
I think those beliefs are a little too crazy for me. If it makes you happy, so be it. But, I need at least a piece of evidence before devoting my one and only life to something like that.
I thought similarly as well at one point in my life but humility can have a funny way of changing your perspective. Thanks for the comment and I respect your point of view.
