"You will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." (Matthew 24:9-12)
I haven't written here for quite some time due to the extreme transformation and sanctification that has been taking place in my life. God has drawn me near to Him after I had been led astray into the New Age movement for years and I couldn't be more excited for all He is doing in my life.
With new eyes, here are some of my insights regarding the New Age deception:
Christianity is being systematically silenced and disparaged. People send "love and light" to everyone... unless you claim to be a follower of Jesus, in which case you must be small-minded and naive. (I understand. I felt that way to an extent before I found Him.) This reaction is only one of many of the things the Bible has predicted that are already playing out.
In spite of the supposed push for equality, acceptance, tolerance... our world is broken. Why is that? I used to chalk it up as "growing pains" on our way to ascension. I believed that truth was relative - that we could all exalt our preferences and call them truth.
But truth can't be relative. In order for truth to be relative, the statement that "truth is relative" would then have to be true, thus invalidating the statement itself.
All human beings have an innate knowing that there is right and wrong (the conviction of the Holy Spirit) and we have been given the Bible as truth - a guide toward what is right. Yet, we are hearing throughout the New Age movement that there is no such thing as truth. That there is no right/wrong, good/bad, true/false, and that everyone can have their own truth and do whatever they wish. “Do what thou wilt” - the golden rule from the Satanic bible. And let's not forget the widespread belief that we are Gods. (“Ye shall be as Gods” - the oldest lie in the Word Of God, and a pillar of New Age thinking.)
This New Age doctrine is based on no moral code other than the vagueness of "love" and the ability to do "whatever feels right" in any moment. We need a reference point for love. Jesus is that reference point.
Doing what feels right doesn't work. Why? 1. Because everyone's definition and expression of love is different if they are not rooted in Christ. And 2. Because the enemy masquerades as an Angel of Light, offering us pleasures of the flesh (money, sex, notoriety, etc) that are so tantalizingly appealing. So these things will feel "right." Of course they would. The enemy is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, the father of lies. While subscribed to New Age doctrine and carrying out occult practices, many are actually willingly (perhaps unknowingly sometimes) opening the doors to spirits of deception - spirits from the team of the enemy - and these spirits are quite convincing in their messages of false light.
We can see now, in this broken world, that there needs to be change. I thought that change would be brought about with New Age thinking. But when I understood that the elite are occultists who follow New Age doctrine and that this New Age doctrine would be the religion of the New World Order… I realized that I was aligning myself with the enemy.
So what do we do about this broken world? You may say love is the answer. And it is.
Nice to have you back here, sharing your thoughts with us again! I bet you could make another post about your life the last 4 months that led you to this new way of thinking. Always great to hear what you have to say!
