Jesus is indeed higher than the angels. Revelation 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega; the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is and which was to come, the Almighty. If you read the preceding verses, clearly this speaks of Jesus Christ. Continue to be a light in a dark world, my brother.

The Lion of the Tribe of Judah is the first and the last. In Greek He is the Alpha and Omega. But in Hebrew, "The King of the Jews" is the Aleph and the Tav. Hebrew is a pictograph language. An "aleph" is an ox head - a sacrificial animal. The tav is a cross. Our savior is the "sacrifice on the cross."
