James 3:2 KJV: For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
There is intensional and unintentional sin, God forgive sins that are unintentional, especially if you sin not in word. If any offend not in word, the same is a perfect man. God consider us perfect when we sin not in words.
There are people that are considered to be perfect in the Bible

  1. Job: Job 1:1 KJV: There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job was considered perfect before God. And I believe whatsoever the Bible says about a man.
  2. Zacharias and Elizabeth: . Luke 1:4-5 KJV
That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. [5] There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
God said the parents of John the baptist are perfect. So it is possible for a man to be perfect before God. God forgives our sin most especially when they sin not in the word.
  3. Noah: Genesis 6:9 KJV
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Noah is regarded as been perfect. Walking with God is perfection. No man is sinless, but when you walk with God and you offend not in word of God you are referred to as perfect.
God told Abraham to walk before Him and be perfect. Understand that perfection is possible with God when man cooperate to walk with Him.
