Festive Cups ☕️
It's Christmas Eve! Gosh, where did the year go? I fell as though 2024 has rushed by so quickly, especially December, that I didn't get toe chance to do some of the things I'd normally do coming up to Christmas.
For instance, I used to review festive coffee cups through November and December. I didn't even get a chance to visit different cafes this year. I only managed two; Caffè Nero and McCafé.
Honestly, I'm waiting for MacDonalds to spin off McCafé into it's own thing. I think they could give the establish chains a run for their money. Especially for their money. Coffee at MacDonalds is half the price, if not less, than at the chains like Starbucks and Costa. To be honest, it's the coffee is not that much worse! If you're just after an Americano, as I often am, with no milk or sugar or marshmallows or sprinkling whatchummacallits, then a coffee at McCafé is nearly indistinguishable from the one at Starbucks. Just saying.
The festive cups this year, at least the ones I've seen, just look like they were made in the same place. They probably were. I know the cups are definitely made in the same factory, churned out in their thens of millions, and shipped to respective wholesalers who then sell them on to cafes, restaurants and retailers. Why not design the cups right there too? Mass production at it's finest I guess. It also probably cuts cost remarkably.
Anyhow, I wish you all a great Christmas, or any other festival that you celebrate. Peace on earth and joy to all.
