“After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”
- Matthew 2:11
Bitcoin, Frankincense, and Myrrh:
More precious than gold... (original)
POSTSCRIPT:
Thanks to a prompting response from my old friend Troy, I am incorporating the following copy of my recent interchange with him into this post for you to seriously consider:
Troy:
"I still say silver and gold are timeless and God's money. Happy to see you. Blessings at Christmas..."
My reply:
"Gold may be lovely and durable, but its supply is infinite. We will soon have the technology to extract it from asteroids and from the ocean in virtually unlimited quantities. I'll be tired of tripping over the gold doorstops, and my wife will be saying 'I've had it with dusting all these gold knick-knacks; Honey, will you please take this box to the Good Will?'"
"In stark contrast, bitcoin is the first technological creation of "digital scarcity." There will never be more than 21 million bitcoin minted, and millions have already been irretrievably lost. Those that remain are the first true property that can be owned with zero maintenance cost and without tax and completely divorced from and inaccessible by the beast of the state. They can be sent person to person anywhere in the world at the speed of light, and easily transported across borders in our heads without the possibility or fear of being confiscated by tyrants."
"In other words, bitcoin is truly wise money; there is no second best."
"Thanks for stopping by, old friend!"
Don't be misled by ignorant disinformation!
Study bitcoin for yourself so you will know. It is the most important and advanced "money technology" that has ever existed, and now would be an excellent time to dump your increasingly worthless fiat currency and move your life savings into bitcoin.
You have been warned!
