As we are now into the festive season I for one am an avid lover of Christmas songs and today I will be sharing some of my favourite festive beats.
Step into Christmas - Elton John
This one just gets me straight into the spirit and has been a classic in my house for years. It reminds me of the British sitcom 'Gavin and Stacey' as it appears in the Christmas episode a couple years ago it never fails to uplift the vibe, I always play this on Christmas day! I feel like this one is universally loved. it has been my favourite for years, especially in my hardcore Beatles phase in 2020. It is so feel good and has such a deeper meaning as well as filling the room up with festive cheer. It will always remain a top fave of mine.Feliz Navidad - José Feliciano

This song is very calming and one of my favs (what's new lol) and is definitely different to other Christmas songs, it is very slow and calming and reminds me of an old song. Definitely recommend and I love V's different tone of voice.Last Christmas - Wham!
This one is a classic and I feel like anyone listened to this one as a kid. This one just fills me with such nostalgia and reminds me of childhood, like a warm comforting hug.All I want for Christmas - Mariah Carey
This is probably THE most classical festive song that everyone knows. It is the default Christmas song that everyone knows and as soon as you hear this banger on the radio you KNOW it is Christmas time officially!!Fairy-tale of New York
This one is a personal fav of mine like all on this list and again is such a feel good song and I play this REPEATEDLY around Christmas time. It is a British classic.
I also love all the real old songs from the 50s and 60s, they give such a feel good, old and comforting vibe. Definitely recommend them for a relaxing and comforting vibe.
These are some of my favourite Christmas songs and I hope everyone is having a good time this Christmas. Even though it is about a month until Christmas itself I hope anyone that celebrates has a very good Christmas!
