I will be spending the day with my son, his father and my brother. Today I bought a standing rib roast and we are going to deep fry it in our turkey fryer. I will have baked beans, 7 layer salad, deviled eggs, dinner rolls and key lime pie for desert. This Christmas will be a lean one for us, as I spent a few months in the hospital with my son. He was not expected to survive, so that is the best Christmas miracle for me and all I need. Even though lean times are here, I am having a fantastic Christmas.
