The following video of Code Pink Israel-haters confronting US Congressman Chuck Fleischmann has been doing the rounds.
While I obviously commend the Congressman for his staunch support while being confronted by these nincompoops throwing Hamas statistics at him, there is another point I want to make.
When he says "Goodbye to Palestine", the haters immediately take great offence at that, understanding that as him wanting "Palestine" eradicated from the Earth.
Yet when Jews hear these same people calling for an end to Israel and chanting things like "From the River to the Sea," these haters want us to believe they are really only calling for peace in the entire land, with all Arabs, Jews and others living on there to enjoy equal rights and freedoms. They try to gaslight us into believing we are being unreasonable in taking offence and misinterpreting them.
Because we all know they really do mean an end to Israel and the Jews living there (their support of Hamas' actions on October 7, as well as other types of violent "resistance" a clear indication of this), when they hear the Congressman calling for an end to Palestine, they immediately take it to mean what they mean with regards to the Jewish state.
The thing is, "Palestine" does not even actually exist, so I am guessing the Congressman means an end to the idea of Palestine.
