From 20th Century Fox and starring Joe Pesci, My Cousin Vinny is the story of a large town lawyer who goes to save his family from a corrupt small town situation. This is a great film to watch on a Saturday evening and it's alot of fun for fans of comedies and dramas from the early 1990s.
Joe Pesci plays the usual tough and streetwise lawyer. Marisa Tomei plays Pesci's partner and does a great job as a fellow streetwise character. The actors play well together, and this pairing has chemistry. Pesci played this role after Home Alone, where he played a villain and Casino where he played a mobster. I enjoy watching Pesci as a versatile actor with alot to offer on this role. Pesci is typically a tough and streetwise character, and so he plays himself in My Cousin Vinny.
I have fond memories of watching this movie in the early 1990s, and the comedic elements of this film are extremely classy. The film has a number of famous scenes where Pesci uses his street smarts to evade the corrupt machine he faces to exonerate his nephew.
Watch this film from 20th Century Fox, Rated-R for language and adult situations.
