The CitiOS is one of the many blockchain technology-based project that aims to provide a solution to the city with errorless services and machine to machine payments. The CitiOS focuses on dealing with issues that are related to the environment, power, and rapid urbanization. Resolving the issues, the project has a mission to make smart cities, which is a dream come true for the world.

There has been a visible impact of the environment due to pollution ad the rapid depletion of resources. This has aided into the increased number f natural disasters that we are experiencing now. With this in mind, it has become compulsory for us to keep records of the impacts of such disasters so that we can recover better and inefficient way. There is an increased need for solving the cities current challenges, along with energy-related issues. The project aims to provide security , safety, and reduce regional conflicts as well as the burning issues of the environment.
The developing countries have poor infrastructure, and most of them are pre-colonial, and proper data analysis is needed to check its viability against nature. The CitiOS project has a mission to solve the issues, as mentioned here. The CitiOS wants to eradicate these issues as well as help the countries to achieve the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations.
To do this, they have designed five prime features of the projects. The first one is to apply the combination of cutting edge computing and NM500 AI chips, which will be planned and processed by the Alliance. With the usage of the updated LoRa-private protocol, the sensor data will be transferred. The second one is to have the direct communication of the internet of things devices with each other through MESH and carry on task without the reliance of the central server. Third, the users or participants or the owner of devices will have a unique blockchain ID, which will enable them to track them completely. Thus it creates a trustworthy system that will have a complete record of transaction history and vary the level of nodes will ensure a system with hardware-failure proof capability. Fourthly, there will be leverage for the cryptocurrency, which will ensure high transaction speed with no cost, and there will be a way for scaling for applications that demand H2M and M2M. And last of all, the P2P data exchange system will help in using and spreading the internet of things data through the elimination of the middlemen as well as increase the trustworthiness with the use of the blockchain identity certification.
Since the beginning of the internet and computer, the world has been changing rapidly. With the increased development, we have gained the internet of things, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology, which is gradually shaping our society. Thus the CitiOS project aims to have an embedded Neuromorphic chip supported by the AI, which will be the base of the internet of things sensors. There will be real-time data processing on-site.
