" Y O U N G P I R A T E "
Cape Verde, Africa.
This one was taken in Cidade Velha, the oldest town in Cape Verde. It was there that the first portuguese "descobridores" (discoverers) arrived, in the 15th Century. Sir Francis Drake got there later, and even Charles Darwin got to explore the Island in 1832.
Centuries later, a child is at that same spot where pirates, explorers and other undauted man set foot. He was afraid, the sea was rough that day.
After a long "battle" with his own fears and doubts, this was the moment the kid wasn´t afraid anymore.
