I perfectly remember the feeling of joy I felt when I first went to Italy. However, what I did not expect is that a city not as famous as Padova, would have been so beautiful and also so suitable for disabled people.
Walking through the streets of Padova, you can clearly see the great culture and the great history of this ancient Nation which is called Italy.
In Padova there are the most beautiful cathedrals in the world and even the most famous universities of Europe.
The only thing that is a bit 'disturbing of Padova is that in winter there is so much fog. When I asked the inhabitants why so much fog? They answered me simply because Padova is very close to Venice and for this reason in winter there is a lot of fog. I have visited this city, both in winter and in spring. If some of you want to visit this beautiful city, I recommend you do it in the spring, because Padova is a city that is a bit 'boring in the winter, but in spring it turns into a beautiful city and that's why I call it the magic city.
As I said before, Padova and Venice are two cities that are very close to each other. So it is a bit 'impossible to visit Padova and not visit Venice.
Even knowing that Venice is a city that is not at all suitable for the disabled, I could not resist without visiting it.
Venice is a beautiful and very romantic city. There are so many small bridges that connect one road with another. The fact that it is a very touristic city also makes it a very noisy city. The fact that it is a city that is built inside in the water, for this reason it is a very special city.
Before visiting Venice, I had heard so many things about this city. The only thing I absolutely wanted to try going to Venice, was to travel with a gondola. When I went there I saw closely how gondolas were made, I was immediately disappointed because the gondolas were not at all for disabled people like me. Luckily I speak very well the Italian language and so I asked about gondolas. They told me that there was a gondola that is for disabled people, so my dream of getting into a gondola and going around Venice became reality.
I will never forget this experience. Since then I have visited Italy many times, but every time I am always more enchanted by its incredible beauty and I wanted a piece of this beauty to share it with you all.
And remember to always see the positive side of life.
