Whats up Steemians?! Trying to keep up with regular posting on this amazing platform, hope you enjoy today's addition :)
This #cityscapephotography photo was taken at sunrise looking over the old city division of Pest from Fisherman's Bastion on the Buda side of the city. At one time in history this major capital city was actually two separate cities separated by the Danube river.
While it is an absolute must to make your way into the Buda side of the city I'd highly recommend you to find housing in the Pest division on the city if you're going to visit. While the Buda side boasts beautiful city outlooks, quite atmosphere, and a marvellous architectural scene in region of the Fisherman's Bastion; the Pest side is absolutely buzzing with activity, shops, restaurants, nightlife and more. Not to mention navigating Buda on foot is no easy task with its steeply graded hills....I can vouch for its difficulty after my 4 something AM slightly drunken race to the top to not miss the sunrise #worthit ! :)
Additionally I cannot stress enough that making your way there (with ample time) for sunrise will yield a most memorable experience of Budapest you will not soon forget. You will likely be accompanied by nobody but your heavy sighs after the climb. When I arrived I not only had the place to myself the entire sunrise for peace and tranquility BUT there was also nobody there to charge an entrance fee to climb up onto the wall and soak in the views. I.e. Beat the working hours and beat the fees!
For those wondering: this was taken in March 2017 on a Sony a6000 at ISO 100 f/9 5s

All work is original and belonging to myself, Mike, under the branding Borderless Citizen Photography. This brand aspires to inspire others to get out of their comfort zone and go somewhere new (borderless). Although going to new places and experience new cultures is fantastic and growth inducing for us I seek to inspire beyond simply going somewhere new. The "citizen" aspect refers to the fact that we are citizens of the world and should treat each and every piece of this planet as our own backyard and care for it as our own because it actually is ours. Collectively as humans we own this planet with all the other species that inhabit it and for some nonsensical reason we are the species that causes mass destruction to the beauty and wealth of life that it provides us. We must train ourselves to live up to the classical "Leave it better than you found it." in addition to engaging in the local communities that we visit.
