Johann Balthasar Kehl, Von Gott will ich nicht lassen

Is it coincidence that Kehl usedone of his most beautiful compositions as the last composition in his "Erste Sammlung"? Or was it the decision of a clever business man, to wet the appetites for possibile future 'Sammlungen'? Fact is that Kehl's prelude to the choral "Von Gott will ich nicht lassen" brings together Kehl's qualities on a high level and the composition is simple, effective and evocative. I really liked playing and recording it.

The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Sonus Paradisi, of the Janke organ in the Stadtkirche of Bückeburg (https://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/organs/germany/buckeburg-janke-organ.html).
