At least I have climbed Mount Slamet three times. If I'm not mistaken, I reached the peak twice, and only reached the last post once. But almost all of these climbs were via the climbing route in Kutabawa Village, Pratin, Purbalingga, Central Java, Indonesia.
Mount Slamet is indeed a fairly large mountain, if I may say the largest mountain in Java. Purbalingga Regency has its own climbing route which is also quite busy.
And, this is my first time to the Mount Slamet climbing location in Tegal Regency, precisely in Guci. There is a welcome gate in this area, Sugeng Rawuh is Javanese for Welcome to the climbers of Mount Slamet 3428 via Guci Village, Gupala Basecamp.
From this gate to post 1 around 30 minutes
Post 1 to post 2 around 90 minutes
Post 2 to post 3 60 minutes
Post 3 to 4 around 150 minutes
Post 4 to post 5 around 80 minutes
and post 5 to the peak takes around 120 minutes
It took about 530 minutes or 8.8 hours. almost at least 9 hours. I think this is the normal time, and the practice may be different depending on the situation and conditions in the field
