Merely thinking about making money while your computer is idle sounds crazy but it is the next phase of profiting off computing resources. I believe everyone must have heard of cloud computing one way or the other but nevertheless, lets look into cloud computing;

This piece of information gives an idea of the revenue circulating in the cloud computing industry making it an industry of interest to investors. Also, according to itproportal, "The cloud computing market is forecast to reach $411bn by 2020 according to new research from global communications provider CenturyLink and Statista."
Considering how expensive it is to procure and maintain computing resources, brings about the idea of utilizing the computing resources of several idle private and business computers in generating profits for computer owners by just putting their computers to work while it is idle.
