SMT测试网正式上线！

宣传了2年的SMT终于有点苗头了~ 今日@steemitblog宣布SMT测试网正式上线！

由于SMT是STEEM史上最大的更新，所以需要很多时间的测试来保证上主链后没有任何问题。之前预计明年2月到4月份上主网。

文章里面有一句话特别吸引我的注意：

Steem will be changing from a platform for sharing and rewarding content, to a platform for releasing state-of-the-art cryptocurrencies that "just work".

大概意思是，SMT后，steem将会从内容平台改成一个服务

也就是说，到时候通过steemit发帖可能赚不到steem，赚的可能是叫steemit的币

我对这种做法是赞成的。STEEM不应该只作为一个内容平台的币，这样只能局限他的功能。

比如steem上的游戏steemmonsters，这是款建立在内容平台上的游戏。游戏大部分方面都和steem区块链相处融洽，唯一不融洽的部分是SP。

你想象一下，一个游戏平台，你要他拿着一堆sp干嘛。打完游戏发帖给他们点赞？

所以steemmonsters基于Steem-engine弄了DEC币，你只需对战赢了就可以获得，不需要发帖。SP部分对于steemmonsters来说是多余的。

还有比如dlike，通过dlike发的帖子天天被steemcleaners踩，说你那是搬砖，抢了我们每天的steem收益

如果steem作为一个服务，dlike有自己的币DLIKE，就不会被steemcleaners踩了，因为不会抢steem收益了。要踩也会是一个叫dlikecleaners的踩。

如果你对STEEM作为服务币没有什么概念，可以了解一下Steem-engine的币ENG

这款币对大部分人没啥用途，但是对于要通过Steem-engine创建代币，创建平台的人来说，可有价值了！

通过steem-engine创建一个新币需要消费100 ENG，创建一个完整的SCOT平台，需要13000 ENG+，还有每个月的服务费。

ENG变成发币人和平台发起人的必需品。我记得最低的时候，ENG才0.07 Steem一个，现在大概1steem一个。要不是系统设置挂钩1 steem，估计早就破1 steem了

如果你手少有STEEM要抛，等到SMT上线后抛

但是我对于这个转变还是有疑问的，比如，如果STEEM转变成服务币，那每日生产的STEEM给谁？原来可以给内容挖掘者，转变后，没有内容挖掘者了，这些币给谁？

可能的转变是，不会把内容部分完全拿走，只是把重心放到作为服务币。

不瞎猜了，静待更多SMT的更多消息~

Very interesting post. SMTs have been promised for a very long time and it is kind of stupid that it took them this long to roll out when Steem-engine has been going strong for many months now.

I feel like the dev teams at Steemit inc are always doing too little too late :(

That's true. Development is too late. Just check the steemit site, not many updates since it got first released
