要知道OmiseGO是什麼，要先說到它的母公司Omise，Omise是一間泰國的線上支付創企，成立於2013年五月，該公司在日本和東南亞地區提供類似Stripe的支付解決方案。它擁有一隊超過一百人的運營和管理團隊，在印尼、泰國、日本和新加坡等地均有業務。在2016年11月，Omise被國際知名的財經雜誌福布斯評為「金融科技之星」。

在2017年，公司的區塊鏈部門OmiseGO正式成立。OmiseGO的目的很明確，就是要借助公司本身的資源和網絡把區塊鏈的資產功能應用到一般公司的清算、積分、支付、証卷化等業務需求，建立一個易於訪問和具包容性的金融科技平台，為客戶提供實時交易和支付服務。

OmiseGO的項目顧問是在幣圈無人不曉的以太坊的創始人Vitalik Buterin，只是他的名字就能托住幣價，令它升幾倍了。

猜猜OmiseGO白皮書的作者是誰？就是閃電組絡的創始人，鼎鼎大名的Joseph Poon。
