You raised an important question regarding acquisition of knowledge and contentment and growth. I think your eventual dream (aspiration of the soul ) is responsible for how content you are in your present situation. Obstacles slow down the movement. But the pursuit of that dream never stops. If your dream is to simply marry and earn a salary, then that is what you focus on. But if your "soul dream" is something beyond that, then you will go for that irrespective of your situations.
