I’m sure most of us will be waking up weary from partying and staying up into the early hours of the morning. So let me suggest something that is easy to make and very delicious indeed!
French toast is a very popular and traditional breakfast option as an easy-to-make, tasty snack before starting the day. This particular recipe adds a combination of fresh strawberries and soft cream cheese to the mix. A perfect blend of nutrition and energy to wake up even the groggiest of us out there.
Here are the step-by-step instructions to make this awesome sandwich:
Ingredients (for 2):
4 slices of brioche bread
6 individual fresh strawberries
2 eggs
4 tsp cream chesse
50g of brown sugar
4 tsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp butter
Honey (optional)
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Spread one teaspoon of cream cheese over each slice of bread.
Step 2: Add strawberries (halved) to each slice of bread and fold into a sandwich.
Step 3: In a mixing bowl, add the eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Whisk the contents thoroughly.
Step 4: Submerge the sandwich and drench well within the newly made mixture.
Step 5: In a pan, melt the butter on medium heat and fry the sandwich on both sides until a golden brown.
Step 6: Drizzle some honey over the sandwich as an optional extra before serving.
It takes approx. 20 minutes to prepare and cook. Best eaten fresh off the stove while it is still piping hot and bursting with flavour.

材料(两人份):
4片土司面包
6个草莓(切半)
2个鸡蛋
4 茶匙忌廉芝士
50克糖
4 茶匙牛奶
½ 茶匙香草精
½ 茶匙 肉桂粉
2 茶匙牛油
蜜糖
烹饪步骤:
1.将忌廉芝士平均涂在4片面包上。
2.将草莓铺在面包片上,并折合成两个三明治。
3.在碗里加入鸡蛋,糖,牛奶,香草精和肉桂粉,搅拌均匀。
4.把三明治两面均匀沾满蛋奶液。
5.在平底锅中加入奶油,加入三明治,中小火煎至两面金黄色。
6.最后淋上蜜糖,或撒上糖霜,就可以开动了,呵呵!
整个烹饪过程只需要20分钟,超级简单!没有料理经验的朋友,也一定能做得来,呵呵!香甜的草莓和浓浓的芝士夹在法式吐司的焦香中,美好的一天就这么开始了!

We used to have Anchor Butter but I don't remember seeing it anymore.
Went search online and found but that's from New Zealand.
