I was picking up on the detail of the beer scene, and the small fish that keep each other alive. These are examples of acts of cooperation, which help to make life livable/tolerable/wonderful (depending on the circumstances). As Stellabelle (I think) says elsewhere, one of the beauties of Steem is that you get rewarded for 'helping people cross the road' and there's a similar principle underlying the film Pay It Forward.
After all, cooperation is one of the things that make the human species strong.
