广州长隆野生动物世界是世界上最大的野生动物主题公园之一。在园区内有超过2万种的各种珍稀动物。在公园内不仅可以观赏各种动物，而且还有专门的动物研究和保护机构。

I visited my relatives in Guangdong when I was in China a couple of months ago. I have spent a good time in Chimelong Safari Park which is one of the largest wild animal theme park in the world. It has over 20,000 rare animals and occupies more than 1,333,340 square meters.

长隆野生动物世界给我的最大印象就是非常原生态，动物们都生活在自己熟悉的环境中，从而能保持非常好的精神状态，而不像很多动物园中的动物那样懒洋洋的样子。其实这里面体现了一个非常好的设计理念，也就是说把动物园设计成一个”动物出没的地方”，而不是展示动物的地方。

The greatest impression Chimelong Safari Park gives me is its original ecology. Animals live in their own familiar environment, therefore they maintain a very good mental health. In fact, this reflects a very good design concept: the zoo is an "animal infested place", rather than a place to show animals.

前面是一个叫做“丛林发现”，里面很有教育意义，能学到很多东西，比如：如何孵化小鸟，如何给动物治病等等。

Jungle Discovery is a very educational place which shows how to hatch the birds, how to treat animals and so on.

很快就走到了著名的花果山剧场。运气不错，稍微等了一下，演出就开始了。整个演出非常精彩，既然是花果山剧场，主角当然就是小猴子了。首先是猴子们的高空特技表演

Soon we went to the famous Huaguoshan Theater. The whole show is very exciting. The protagonist, of course, is monkey.

人猴同台表演，似乎悟空也来了，哈哈

除了猴子的各种表演外，也还有其他动物的表演，比如：犀鸟的飞行特技表演。同时还有观众参与节目，比如观众可以向空中抛食由犀鸟接住。

In addition to monkeys’ performances, there are other animal performances as well, such as: hornbill flying performances.
Visitors are encouraged to participate in the show, e.g. visitors can play a ‘throw and catch’ game with hornbill.

接下来我们乘坐小火车进入了原生态游览区。在这里有着模拟各种动物生存环境的地形地貌，包括非洲草原，亚洲森林，美洲丛林等。在里面可以看到黑熊，狮子，长颈鹿，斑马，羚羊等各种动物就在不远处休息，感觉非常刺激。

Finally, we take a small train into the original ecological resort. Here is a simulation of a variety of animal survival environment including the African grassland, Asian forests, American jungle and so on. In here you can see lots of wild animals such as the black bear, lion, giraffe, zebra, antelope etc, are very close to you.
