Bibimbap and Soybean Paste Soup is the most typical Korean everyday comfort food: in Korean dramas, when the husband finishes work and comes home with an empty stomach, the wife will prepare a hot and nutritious soup and the healthy mixed rice dish. It is just such a common match for most Korean families.
今天是中国有嘻哈的决赛，我的一位关心嘻哈界的朋友热心地给我普及了不少这节目外的各个派系以及之间的恩怨情仇，总结陈词是这帮人太高调了不行，背后很容易被搞因为飞叶子以及别的各种项目挺多。我：rapper的人设就是这样了大家都懂的，跟90年代搞摇滚的差不多，哪天突然拿个保温杯反而大家都惊呆了。我朋友：太看得起这群rapper了，跟网红没有区别啊，开直播收礼物开淘宝赚外快，玩摇滚的才不玩这套呢。我：哈哈哈哈年轻人的偶像跟咱那会真是不一样了，等一等，我去拿保温杯泡杯养生茶。
话归正题只要看过韩剧肯定都对里面的拌饭和大酱汤不陌生吧，按他们的词汇来说叫做国民美食，我对此是深有体会的，因为我在国外的时候曾经跟一位韩国女生做过室友，这位室友让我印象最深的就是每天的食谱就是拌饭和大酱汤，里面的内容换一换但是形式是不带改变的，就连煮方便面都要煮在大酱汤里面。然后冰箱里面大个超大的盒子，一个盒子装着泡菜，一个盒子装着大酱，真的跟韩剧里面演的一模一样。现在想来倒也挺省事的，不用发愁每天吃什么的生活也是一种简单的幸福啊。
Korean Mixed Rice：rice coved with shredded veggies and single sided egg
After mixing with red chili paste
Soybean paste soup, served hot
hearty veggies in the soup
Clams and tofu are common in the soup
In Korean restaurant , BBQ can not be missed
It is pork belly
When it is ready, use scissors to cut into pieces
Kimchi is recommended to eat with meat
Use lettuce to wrap kimchi and meat can reduce grease
Done!
Love the food culture! Takes me back to the days of my culinary training!

I still remember when I was in the Maldives in 2012, i had a Korean friend chef and he was doing some awesome bibimbap for us all weekly different flavors! The ultimate bowl!

Bibimbap is easy to make and tasty!
One modification I would make with the kimchi, meat, and lettuce combo is to add a little bit of white rice in it. Its very old school, but it makes it more savory!
And bibimbap with the fresh vegetables is so delicious! The fresh, uncooked vegetables make the cooked savory bimbimbap really pop!
