引言
Prologue
Although Hong Kong is so-called an "International City", where most of the cultures could be found here,
many traditions are disappearing eventually as a result of the city development.
Many artists used to be performing in some crowded area such as MTRs,
no matter street artists playing saxophone, or Chinese instruments, they all provided a relaxing environment to the city.
However the city is squeezing every bit of area for economic use,
"Art" became a transaction between the culture and the economic growth.
Less and less artists are performing in designated time and location, there seems to be a new street performance culture,
Flash Show
Flash shows are shows performed by street artists without formal notification, equipment or even a stage.
Most of the "Flash showers" are teenagers who love dancing or singing.
Tsim Sha Tsui Habour is the best place I could ever imagine for flashes shows,
it is one of the most popular places to visit in Hong Kong, which brings them a lot of audience.
Street artists love this stage a lot!
There isn't only an enormous area for them to bring their arts into full play,
but also a calming atmosphere for audience to stop and enjoy their show.
Wind comes from Victoria refreshes my mind.
只是很多香港人在回家的路上似乎都無視了周邊的眾生;
Hong Kongers call Hong Kong a "Culture Desert",
it's not because Hong Kong is lack of different cultures,
but because most of the people living here don't really care about this treasure.
Many precious things are vanishing in this city of buildings,
there is no one to blame but ourselves.
Street artists in Hong Kong are like bright stars in a lonely night.
Of course the Moon and the night itself are attractive,
but without these stars, the sky is just some meaningless spectrum.
In fact there are a lot flash shows happening in every crowded corner in Hong Kong,
but the Victoria Habour makes this the place I chose to introduce.
And of course my friend is another obvious reason.
If you like the view of this majestic habour, luckily a writer from Hong Kong @aaronli had written an amazing post about it
They had practiced for days or even months only for a glimpse and a bug clap from us.
Although only a few people were still there listening to his speech after their performance,
there is nothing better for him to have such a successful showcase.
You haven't lived your life, if you don't even give it a try
