Well, first of all the great majority of them don't do it. Second of all, you allow a bunchaton (technical term ;)) of followers of other bad shit in. Islam is the current leader in violence among religions, but the rest of them are still on the leaderboard.
Swap Muslim with anything else and you will probably not be so OK with the idea.
