Thanks to @starkerz for drawing this exchange for my attention - at first glance it seems to have a well-designed format and tool that matches an existing site like Bittrex - plus, they run their own coins (COB) and have extra support for ICO launches, free coin drops and even zero trade fees! I found the name for this exchange to be a bit weird, I'm still not sure where it came from - it's definitely a mixture of 'Robin Hood' - old English story of 'redistribution of wealth' and 'C', which may refer to 'Crypto'?
If that's the case, then it's a bold and exciting move to name the exchange in a way that shows rebellion and deliberate redistribution of wealth! Let's dig deeper.
The About page gives us the following description:

The team behind the exchange includes two younger technology specialists from Asian heritage (Popo Chen and Wei-Ning Huang) and former Federal Gov Federal Information Chief of Staff - Tony Scott. Their background sounds pretty broad, so far so good!
Companies listed in the Terms and Agreements are Being Inc. and the address is given on the Cayman Islands - a typical tax haven.
Zero Fees? Very?
Well, it does seem that standard trading is not charged - pretty good! However, the terms and conditions for the site reveal that there are still costs that may arise:
The company displays ZERO trading costs to maximize the trader's profile and market liquidity. However, the Company imposes fees for interest on trade margin, subscription to COBINHOOD PrimeTM, use of COBINHOOD High Frequency Trading Server and other Services that may be provided by the Company from time to time. For a list of currently available Services and their associated costs, please refer to the Fees List published on the COBINHOOD website; Company may change the Fee Schedule from time to time). Please check the COBINHOOD website from time to time to ensure that you know the latest Fee Schedule. Although I have searched the website, I have not been able to find the 'Fee Schedule' referenced in these terms.
Security and protection?
From what I see, the exchanges are pretty standard because no insurance coverage is offered if the exchange loses your money due to a fault or financial collapse. I have only seen one exchange so far that offers this but it is a big deal. Adding this will greatly help the cause of Cobinhood in the future.
