When you break a coconut, the first thing you get is its water. Many people discard this, I wonder why. Asides its sweet taste, it is very good for your health; it keeps you hydrated, it gives a healthy heart because it contains Potassium with no sodium which is needed for people with high blood pressure. It contains Magnesium and Calcium hence good in building strong and healthy bones and muscles.

Asides the benefit of coconut water to the body system, it is also good for the skin and hair. Due to an agent present in it called cytokinins (helps prevents aging), it will make your skin a radiant and glowing one when used as a skin moisturizer. However some people skin gets irritated by it so it isn't for everyone.

When applied to the root of your hair, it helps repair damages and kills dandruffs due to its antioxidant content.

Note that if you don't use the water for your system, you can use for skin or hair so stop discarding it.

The next thing you find after water is the fruit itself. The fruit contains Magnesium nd antioxidants which helps boost your immune system. It also helps give you a healthy heart like its water.

Coconut fruit has high fibre content hence promotes good digestion and helps treat constipation. It also aids in control of your blood sugar.

The last part is its shell of which a larger percentage of us throw away this. I have learnt that when ground to powder, can be used to make mosquito coils. It is used by some industries in the manufacture of soap and medicines. Some even use the shell as art work so you can decide to do business with it by selling them....you will be surprised by how many people are out there in need of it.

Every part of the coconut has its own benefits.
