Learning a new skill for 2020!
I made a New Year's Resolution at 11:59 pm 12/31/2019 that I was going to do something this year that was going to drastically change my families financial future! At the moment I made this resolution I really didn't have a clear idea of what that was going to be.
As the first weeks already shot by this year, it started to come into focus on what that skill was going to be. I wanted to start learning to code. Since 2015 I have been interested in cryptocurrency. And just last year I started to learn what it was going to take to start mining them. Then I got into running nodes.
That is when I discovered that I really like taking ideas that are in my head and turning them into real-world physical products! With the rise of cryptos, and now dApps being built and rewarding cryptos for playing this is a skill that will be in high demand!

Get inspired! 2020 is going to be the roaring '20s all over again! History does repeat itself.
I started taking courses in Python3, Java, and C++! Along with getting started with Ubuntu, and Virtual Machine! This is all new to me as I have been a Windows user since the mid-'90s. I got interested in this after a friend of mine kept talking about bitcoin back in 2015. I didn't pay it much attention then but towards the end of 2016, it started to go way up in price so I started learning all I could about bitcoin and blockchain technology.
It completely fascinated me and I just kept digging deeper. Then I found other amazing people and systems that I would have never dreamed of. This took me so far down the rabbit hole. There were literally DAYS that would fly by me as I would work on my app, or getting set up on Keybase, or creating crypto wallets and trading accounts!
It is absolutely crazy to me how once you get started on something before you know it 2.5 days have flown past, no sleep no food, just typing away!
I was actually thinking about writing a book this year as well. I have owned two businesses in my life, I was a foreman on a construction crew I worked and was the lead mechanic in a garage I worked straight outta high school. Then I was married went through a shitty divorce got addicted to drugs and alcohol, died twice and now I am remarried, 2 awesome daughters, and a super supportive wife. I have a lot to share with the world and I believe my story could inspire many people around me!
I will give updates on progress throughout 2020 this year is going to be epic. I wish all that read this post the very best this year! Health, happiness, and success!
