Yes, coffee runs in my veins! Being in law school would definitely make one drink liters and liters of coffee to an amount no one has ever imagined. Coffee is just so essential in every man's life and as for me, I need to have a cup in the morning, before lunch, during lunch, after lunch, before dinner, during dinner, after dinner, while driving, walking, and even while in class. It's just so difficult to last a day without coffee.
My love for coffee made me try different coffee places unconsciously and in the process, discovered one coffee shop which has completely elevated my coffee standards.
One thing that’s common about coffee shops is that most of them seem to have perfected and mastered the art of coffee making but may have forgotten that food plays a big role in having your perfect coffee experience.
That’s not that case for Toby’s Estate. Good food, great coffee, nice staff- everything that you need for your perfect coffee spot, they have it all here. They have artisanal coffee and gourmet food at the same time! Not only that, this coffee shop seems to have the friendliest staff amongst all the third wave coffee places I’ve tried.
To prove you how serious they are with their food items, check out this long list (this only includes those that I’ve tried):
-Braised Chicken in Wine-
Pair this latest addition to the Toby's Estate seasonal menu with your flat white or latte! Their chicken is so soft that it melts in your mouth. Serving is good for 1.5. Served over creamy mashed potatoes and mixed veggies!
-Salami and Cheese Croissant-
Pepper Salami, Manchego, Tomatoes, Lettuce and Alfalfa in Freshly Baked Butter Croissant! You might think it's a light meal, IT'S NOT! Nakakabusog.
-Corned Beef and Hash-
It has three layers of goodness! First one is the very very very crispy but moist HASH BROWN. Middle layer is a bounteous serving of CORNED BEEF (it's super chunky, promise!). For the top layer, two EGGS seasoned with paprika and some herbs.
-Salcedo Blend-
It has notes of guava, smooth chocolate, and toasted hazelnut with a sweet muscovado finish. This blend NEEDS NO SUGAR. It's naturally and satisfyingly sweet I had mine in flat white.
-Black Sesame Bagel with Cream Cheese-
This one's a fix on their menu. They have several bagels but their black sesame seems to be the most striking. Kinda nutty and strong. They have about 3 variants of cream cheese: bacon, jalapeño, and classic. I had classic on this one because the bagel itself is already packed with flavor.
-Linguine Puttanesca-
A very subtle and light pasta that's just right for a lazy Wednesday afternoon study. I like how mild the flavors of each ingredient was that it allowed the dish to give you different flavors in one bite. I just hope there's less olives in this dish. LOL
-Vongole-
Another lightly flavored dish that's just soooo cute! Those tiny clams are to die for! They might be really really tiny but they're packed with so much flavors!
-Mushroom Pasta-
Mushrooms were never this interesting! It was like eating rare to well done steaks! One piece is different from the other. Great texture, generous serving, perfect for cold brew. 👏🏻
-House Arugula-
A very refreshing and citrus-y salad. It'll make you feel like you're losing weight while eating this!
-Roast Pork and Quinoa-
A big chunk of roasted tenderloin over fresh quinoa and some leaves. I don’t know what kind of leaves they were but there’s some sort of distinct spice coming from it! Quite interesting... didn’t got that chance to ask the chef though.
If you’re looking for coffee and hungry at the same time, I guess you now know where to go.

It looks sooo delicious! And even though we are going to sleep now, I wouldn't mind such a good looking cup of coffee.
Thank you, @emmamia!
