That's a pretty darn good hack. Here's another for ya - When eating a taco, place another tortilla underneath so when things fall out BAM another taco ;)

Here's one I use: Order your McDonald's Filet O' Fish without cheese (cheese on the side). This ensures it comes out piping hot.
