The Origins
An idea brewed up at 18,000 above sea level, near Mt. Kailash in Tibet became the inspiration for a coffee that had the power to rejuvenate and improve cognitive function by harnessing the power of butter. After a couple years of careful research, the recipe for bulletproof coffee took shape. Used today by Billboard recording artists before they go on stage, world champion athletes, and some of the world’s top executives, Bulletproof coffee has shown a massive impact energy and on cognitive functions.
"Supercharge" Your Morning Coffee... With Butter!
The healthy fats in butter help to switch your body into fat-burning mode whilst keeping you craving free and full of energy for the day.
Some people think that putting butter in their coffee sounds strange, or even gross -- until they have their first sip. The truth is, it's not only "drinkable"... you'll discover that it's the creamiest, frothiest, most delicious cup of coffee you've ever experienced.
This isn't "medicine" to gulp down... it's a rich reward to savor.
Ingredients:
Coffee, preferably good quality made in a french press or an Aeropress if you have one (i really can't recommend a better coffee maker for its price)
Butter Ideally grass fed and free range, but once again, whatever you have lying in the fridge.
Coconut oil
How to make Bulletproof Coffee:
Put butter and coconut oil in cup (personally, i now have it without the coconut oil and it still tastes great)
Pour in hot coffee
Blend (or stir vigorously)
Drink & Enjoy!
I Also found this official video on Youtube , just follow along its really easy.
I also believe in the power of Bullet-proof coffee, but Dave Asprey did not come up with the idea, just promoted it. (Not entirely sure who came up with it.)
Thanks for sharing this, I have never actually heard about Bulletproof Coffee before readign this post. Sounds interesting, will try it tomorrow morning to see if I like it :)
I have my coffee with coconut oil without the butter. I have tried it both ways but like this better...
