Usually, people eat something more luxury during early in the month because the salary is out so they can enjoy good food a bit. While we were still waiting for our salary out we decided to try this new restaurant and bar at The Sphere Bangsar South which was just nearby to my workplace.
At first, we didn't plan to dine here and we planned to dine the new Korean restaurant at The Sphere as well. However, at around 12:15 pm when we reach the Korean restaurant it was a super long queue! Guess what? Promotion during opening week! omg! I should take a photo at that time to show you guys how crazy it was just for lunch! The moment we saw the super duper long crazy queue we immediately find an alternative restaurant for our lunch!
We found Sector 3 at the last shop of the entire lot and not many people in the restaurant and all of us were hungry so we decided to dine in here today. It was all of our virgins here, waiters were pretty fast usher us and gave us their menu and lunch set. The price for the lunch set at Bangsar South was acceptable MYR 19 nett with free ice lemon tea. We go through the set menu and quickly placed our order.
Sector 3 is a really cool and industry interior design. There is a live band area at night and according to the waitress, every Thursday and Friday from 8-11 pm will have live band sing-song. The outdoor view is awesome too! The bar table and high chair at outdoor are my favourites! I love these kinds of design and I want them in my house! Our lunch came pretty fast and it looks not bad tho from the look.
I ordered their chicken (don't recall the full name of the dish) with melted cheese on top and mashed potatoes lay on the bottom with asparagus and carrot in the middle. The portion wasn't big, but the chicken was quite thick and juicy. Some of us top up few bucks to upgrade our drinks to coffee! Of course, coffee for me since I'm writing coffee series now. I ordered an iced cappuccino, the drink was served in a tumbler size glass and my colleague ordered a hot latte with erm not sure what is the art tho.
For me, the chicken was great even though the portion wasn't big and I might come back in future at night to experience their live band. The coffee wasn't really good in my opinion, I guess I still stick back to order Americano or Espresso for my liking!
I hope tomorrow the Korean restaurant doesn't have many people and we might just leave office slightly early to grab a good spot for our lunch!
