Unfortunately, not everyone really understands about the coffee itself. In fact, the potential for coffee in Indonesia has been worldwide.

Based on the CNN report in 2017, there are several names of domestic coffee already known in the international arena. In general, Indonesia's global coffee is derived from arabica types such as Gayo coffee from Aceh, Mandailing coffee from North Sumatra, Java coffee from East Java and many more.
Each of these coffee varieties has different flavors and flavors. This difference of taste, according to the report, depends on the height, fertility conditions, nutrient availability, and chemical content of the land that is the medium of coffee planting.

It was also agreed by Abinesta, barista and the owner of the Encyclopedia store that also joined the Baracik Muda Indonesia community.

Abi explained that there are 4 types of coffee varieties that are known in general, namely arabica, robusta, exelsa and liberika.

He recounted that arabica coffee was ranked one as the best coffee in terms of export because it has a high selling price.

"The Arabica is ranked one in terms of exports because of its high selling price, and for the robusta it ranks second, while the unique exelsa like jackfruit, it is ranked third, the last being liberal," he explained.

About the taste, Abi explained that it depends on taste. However, from every type of coffee varieties have a distinctive taste that becomes its own character for the type of coffee.

"Robusta tastes bitter like the bitter taste of cocoa. If the arabica, the dominant sense of acid because it grows at an altitude of 1000 mdpl If exelsa is unique like jackfruit, just like liberal," said the long-haired man.

Abi also explained, although both scented like jackfruit, coffee liberica and exelsa have a striking difference. According to him, the smell of jackfruit in coffee exelsa sharper than coffee liberika.

Meanwhile, the smell of jackfruit in coffee liberica when brewed not as sharp as the type of coffee beans are fried.

"So, when the coffee beans are liberally fried, the smell is out, but the time of the brew is less than the amount of the exelsa coffee beans that are fried or brewed in the aroma are both strong and sharp," he explained.
Differences in the height of planting also affect the enjoyment of coffee. The higher the area where coffee is grown, the more delicious it feels.

According to him, this is because the higher the coffee tree, the risk of coffee beans attacked by smaller pests.

In addition, how to store coffee beans also affect the taste that will be produced by the coffee beans themselves.

"The coffee mite is usually in the warehouse and it can reduce the taste of coffee, so the humidity and the way of storage should also be taken care of," he added.

To save the coffee beans well, Abi suggested that we keep the beans in room temperature and do not immediately put the coffee beans on the floor.

"Temperatures that are too dry can also make coffee beans more easily decayed. In addition, storing coffee must also be dialed by a palette for coffee beans are not easy to moist and do not store coffee beans along with other items," he added
