If you were hoping to buy some coins on discount today than Coinbase is the wrong place to go. They have temporarily halted transactions on 2 of their 3 offerings. Both Ethereum and Litecoin are temporarily unavailable as offerings. However if you feel they need to acquire Bitcoin that is still a viable option.
If Coinbase keeps disabling transactions when the market has a significant drop.... is it really a viable option? High risk should entitle those to an opportunity to gain high rewards. Hopefully Coinbase figures out how to scale (and run more efficiently) as their users and the markets fluctuate.

Coinbase does that everytime! Please get out of Coinbase. They are the antithesis of what crypto represents. They answer to Big Brother... Thanks for your post and please follow! ;-)

It's telling Coinbase malfunctions when traders need it running most-- in times of price drops when you MOST want liquidity. They will lose customers from this, guaranteed. But the next question is: Who's got a better mousetrap?
