Show me any other multimedia, social network platform; compiled of an amazingly supportive community, that allows artists from a vastly diverse spectrum ~who would under normal circumstances, more than likely never have been exposed to each other~ to connect.
Take this collaboration for example:
Steemit allows artists to communicate and share their creations & be rewarded for it. And no, I am not referring to the post pay-outs here,** (although that is a great aspect of Steemit).
I am referring to the mutual support, inspiration, encouragement, guidance, constructive feedback and motivation that artists on the Steemit platform reward each other with.
The Team:
(@soundwavesphoton & myself @breezin)
I met @soundwavesphoton through Steemit on the PAL (Peace, Abundance, Love)/ MSP (Minnow Support Program) - Discord server, and soon I decided to go scope out his account. That was the first time that I was introduced to his divine music creations, and needless to say, almost instantaneously fell in love with it.
Then there is me:
I would definitely not point out that I am an artist, as the first and foremost attribute when asked, I will however acknowledge that: I do have an artistic side, also that my artistic side was not something I made time for – in the sense of exploring-, nurturing- & developing skills in the past.
Lately however – I dabble
I try to learn and practice different skill-sets in an attempt to re-discover my under-rug swept talents.
A Dream Knows No Boundaries:
You could say the two of us are worlds apart ~ Well continents, at least:
Dream Weaver ~ How it all came together:
Right, so here is @breezin, just running around, poking her fingers and toes into the uncharted waters of her own creativity, and all of a sudden she realizes that she Wrote a Song... 𝑀𝑒𝒶𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔: 𝒲𝓇𝑜𝓉𝑒 𝓁𝓎𝓇𝒾𝒸𝓈 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒶 𝓈𝑜𝓃𝑔 + 𝒸𝑜𝓂𝓅𝒾𝓁𝑒𝒹 𝒶 𝓉𝓊𝓃𝑒 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒾𝓉 𝒾𝓃 𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝒹 + 𝓅𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓉𝒾𝒸𝑒𝒹 𝒾𝓉 𝒶 𝒻𝑒𝓌 𝓉𝒾𝓂𝑒𝓈 𝒾𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝒽𝑜𝓌𝑒𝓇 = 𝓇𝑒𝒸𝑜𝓇𝒹𝑒𝒹 𝒾𝓉 𝑜𝓃 𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝒶𝓃𝒹𝓇𝑜𝒾𝒹 𝓅𝒽𝑜𝓃𝑒 & 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝓊𝒹𝓁𝓎 𝒟𝒯𝓊𝒷𝑒𝒹 𝒾𝓉.
I mean, it really is a great concept –
But oh boy; it was LACKING BIG-TIME!
(~ 𝒶𝓉 𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓈𝓉 𝑒𝓃𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽 𝓉𝑜 𝓂𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝓂𝑒 𝓉𝒶𝓁𝓀 𝒾𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓇𝒹 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃 𝒶𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈.)
@breeze posted a very rough diamond – there were no instruments or backgrounds, only the words, conveyed by her voice, on a mentally noted tune, you can listen to the initial song on DTube by clicking on the image below;
She couldn’t just leave it at that, I mean that ‘song’ was flung out in public ~ naked and raw; and @breeze was simply not willing to stand there and watch it die! That was when she decided to grow a pair and ask some other Steem-artists on the platform for help:
She approached @soundwavesphoton, and asked if he was willing to help her on her little musical venture or alternatively, point her in the right direction...
And that was where the magic started!
A Girl Always Remembers Her First:
I have been on Steemit since October 2016 and this is my very first Steemit collaboration.
In all honesty I was scared and not quite sure what to expect but, being familiar with the great quality of @soundwavesphoton's workmanship, meant that I maintained faith in the end result. In fact, I might have even set the expectations bar unreasonably high. Thus you can imagine my surprise when I finally received the link to the completed song and realized, just how far my expectations were exceeded.
I was at a loss for words and my eyes involuntarily fogged up.
For your convenience, should you wish to have a look, up-vote, follow, support or simply just tell him he is awesome; I have added the link to the collaboration post made by @soundwavesphoton, simply click on the image below to be re-directed:

Just the day before I received a reply on a comment I left on a heartfelt post written by @negativer, about his journey through the realm of curation and post creation that I would like to share with you:

@negativer’s words simply seemed to fall right in place for me, because in my opinion @steemwavephoton is a prime example of such uplifting and enriching deeds within the Steemit Community - I know that I am definitely not the first person that he has helped by going over and beyond the necessary, and I very strongly doubt that I was the last.
One thing that has, without a doubt, become more predominantly clear to me throughout this entire process is that we are given a choice, every single moment, of every single day that we spend on Steemit:
We can sit back and complain about how bad certain areas of the Steemit platform is in our own opinions;
🅾🆁
We can choose to help and uplift our fellow community members that happen over our path, thus enabling them in turn, to help us grow the envisioned Steemit platform that we strive to be a part of.
As Mahatma Gandhi said: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

Hey thank you for the kind words. It was fun creating the song and your vocals were lovely. I'd love to collab again. FIre Hearts and Lovewaves :)
Deserved kind words. Yes that would be great! Just say when!
