Hello there, all of you wonderful Hive collectors around the world.
I hope that you’re well this week and collecting other peoples trash to turn it into treasure!
So last week I shared with you a stash of Mum's really old one pennies- some of them dating back as far as 1911 which makes that 105 years old, because the week before I shared Mum’s collection of old bottles of booze left in the bar cabinet that I cleaned out here https://peakd.com/hive-180658/@chocolatescorpi/what-was-in-the-bar-cabinet-collection-the-collection-mums-authentic-vintage-booze-from-the-1970s-to-the-1980s just a couple of months ago… and so I thought just in case there were no rare pennies in that collection last week to be able to afford all those bottles of booze, then maybe there’s some rare ones in this collection of silver coins this week.
And if you have a look closely these silver coins are early going back as early as the 1930s and there are many different types as well as a lot of antique coins from a few spots around the world such as Fiji, New Zealand, New Caledonia and even the Nederlands!
And my parents didn't ever travel, they barely made it out of my tiny home town, so I have no idea how they got these vintage international coins!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this weeks episode of collecting the collection which is me now inheriting all of Mum’s stash and needing to sell it so it’s not to become a hoarder like her, plus I don’t have a lot of room in my little flat so I need to get rid of it!
