My father lives on a remote Orcadian island called Westray, off the north coast of Scotland.
The beaches are pristine and deserted, the sands whiter than anywhere else I've seen in the UK, the waters clear and pure. Seals are common, bobbing curiously in the shallows as they try to get a close look at you. The air is clean, and although it is often windy and rainy there, the sunny days make it all worthwhile.

Blues and blues, with the whites of sand. Well done!
Found this through the Colorchallenge Discord.
Thank you!
Beautiful. One would never guess this is Scotland.
Lovely little write-up too :)
Following your advice :D
Just gorgeous! I've always wanted to visit Scotland, and now you've given me another place to want to explore.
That's great, you really should! I'd also highly recommend Harris and Lewis for pristine white beaches
