Hey steemians!
For six days now, I'm posting my photos for the Color Challenge, just because I like the idea. Well, it's Thursday Green today, and the last three photos of mine on this subject.
What could be associated with green color here in the Arctic circle? Grass and trees? Maybe. But most of the time we see naked trees and snow everywhere. What I really associate with green, is the Polar lights.

It may be very bright, but mostly aurora isn't as bright as it's shown on photos. When you watch aurora in the town (or out of town when aurora is weak,) it looks rather white than green. Once I watched aurora right above my head, and what an astonishing spectacle it was! You may think aurora is a slowly moving action. If it's near horizon — maybe. But when it's right above your head, it blazes like some kind of psychedelic fire! I was lost in contemplation, my camera was forgotten, I could take only one picture:
