Moss, Lichen and Fungi are taking over the back yard.
Resilient and adaptive organisms, these multicellular sea foam green (but come in a variety of colors) lichens and vividly lush green mosses will take root and thrive just about anywhere in the rolling hills of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Any rock exposed to the surface atmosphere, in this climate, will seemingly make an excellent home for these immobile denizens.
Lots of dead or near death trees in the yard as well, presenting lots of food choices for large fungi to grow.
Wow some really cool, colorful photos!
