Happy Friday my Steemians! For today's #ColorChallenge, I present you with photographs of WATER that I took from various regions. The first photo above is from Nassau in the Bahamas. Can you believe it? No photo editing at all. I just can't get over that blue color.
The one above is Nassau from a distance, same water. If you you close to the shoreline you can see a color variant that is a shade close to my first photo, just farther away.
^^ That one is from Freeport in the Bahamas. Slightly different shade of blue, also different time of day, different angle.
^^ That's a picture I took cruising the Atlantic. A more deep blue color, reflective of the massive depth of the ocean.
Below, we are getting away from BLUE water but just so we can take a look at other water colorations. :) Here's some photos I took from GEORGIA at a decorative pond outside a hotel. The water may've been treated, unsure.....
This is from a totally different area of GEORGIA a delightful creek. Notice the more brown coloration of the water:
Below, is a picture of the water color of the Shenandoah River, in WV. Much different, not blue. But interesting and beautiful.
Still the same Shenandoah WATER, but, stagnant....just situated away from the main area of beautiful running water from the first photo....
Last, but not least, upclose pics of water from a stream here in Frederick, MD where I live:
Hope you've enjoyed my mostly Friday blue photos. I know there's so many natural water variations around the world depending on mineral deposits, etc! Maybe as I further expand my travel horizons, I can make a part 2 of this showing other water colors!
Have a delightful day!
all photos mine, taken by me
