This is a well on my property in Portugal. I wouldn't swim in it, but the frogs seem to like it.

Where on your property is this? Just for some perspective. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Is it a human made pond for koi fish??
Hi @whitneynoel, it is a well in a field. It was at the end of a dry summer so the water has receded quite low. So you can see granite stones at the bottom and then the bricks leading up to the top. Thanks for interacting!
oh, that does give some perspective—it looks pretty wide for a well. Then again I haven't been around too many wells...lol

It is pretty big, probably 10ft in diameter. Its kinda a funky shot/angle because I'm on the edge looking down. :)
I am glad the frogs had a fire-proof home and didn't burn to death. They seemed totally unaffected by the chaos around them in their watery micro-world.
Yeah, it was nice to see that they came through just fine!
Such a beautiful photo! I love the contrast of colors and all the different shapes in it. It reminds me of a collage somehow.
