This is a plant in the corner of my living room. I've hardly taken notice of it before, but now it's in full bloom which always brightens up the dreary winter.

I think you bought it.
I don't buy house plants; people buy me house plants. The one in the bedroom is from Bad Jill, the one in the bathroom is from ex-Chris' sister-in-law, the one in the loo is from Mum, two in the front from are from Mum, the Begonia in the conservatory you bought me for Valentine's a few years ago, one of the orchids was a wedding pressy to us, another was from Lorraine and the 3rd I actually did buy myself because it was reduced in Tesco from £9.99 to £1.99. Bargain. And still not dead. :-)
