WOW. This is such a 'stop you in your tracks' image. If you didn't already have a perception of 'dragonfly' you could be forgiven for wondering what sort of creature it was. LOVE the heart shaped head. The focus dof and color subtlety is so beautiful. 💗🙏💗

These also fly to The Netherlands every summer, but they are not native here.
In southern Europe, especially in the mediterranean southwest (e.g. Iberian Peninsula) , they are quite common.
