No, he didn't do that while I was there; I would remember that, I think.
It would be a very short shovel. Might be easy to miss.
I have a keen eye for such things, and a shovel is the first thing I look for when photographing lazy roosters.
They DO, sadly, seem to be on the rise in today's world.
